    1. Application & Profiling
      Participants submit a detailed profile outlining IPs, interests, and collaboration goals.

    2. Interviews
      Participants are invited to a short 30 min meeting with matchmaking facilitators. This meeting allows them to describe who they are and what they are looking for in more detail, allowing higer quality matchings to be made.

    3. Curation & Scouting
      Helsinki Film Lab reviews applications and actively scouts cross-industry matches, not just based on format, but on strategy.

    4. Curated Matchmaking Schedule
      Each participant receives a personalised meeting schedule with relevant partners.

    5. Online Meetings
      1-to-1 or small group meetings hosted online, with optional moderation.

    6. Follow-Up & Connection Support
      We facilitate introductions and post-event follow-ups where relevant.

  • If it is determined by the facilitators that your request does not fit with other applicants you will not be invoiced. Helsinki Film Lab values the quality of the programme and aims for setting up valuable meetings.

Our role goes beyond organising events, we act as connectors, translators, and scouts between industries that too often operate in silos.

Freelance/Independent: 150€
Studio/Coporate/Institution: 400€
